Have just upgraded from 2019 Ultimate to 2020 Ultimate as much as anything in desperate hope that I can rectify a long standing problem with rendering video from projects ..... but the same problem has carried over !!!
The issue is simply that after creating my project and clicking on SHARE, the video rendering screen takes approximately 3-4 minutes to render. After that, it works fine and I've lived with this for a year or more but it is very annoying having to wait every time I want to move to the video rendering screen. I have even tried with no project and a completely empty timeline and still clicking on the SHARE tab results in a long wait for the screen to appear.
It clearly is something native to my desktop PC but does anybody have any ideas ?
PC is Windows 10 64Bit and all drivers are up to date.
PS: I have spoken for ages with Corel Support but, even being polite, they have been of no use at all. Their only solutions seem to be to constantly uninstall and re-install and that never achieves anything.

Re: SHARE tab takes an age to load screen
For me it takes 18 seconds to open the Share page -- and I find that rather slow. So several minutes is ridiculous, though I can't think why this might be happening.
Originally for me, opening VS 2020 for the first time after booting the computer took several minutes. Others were seeming to get it up in a matter of seconds. I was looking for an answer, and one of the things I did was to go to Task Manager and look in the Details tab. I scrolled down to vstudio.exe and right clicked it to see what priority it had been assigned in the use of computer resources under 'Set Priority'. It was marked as Normal. So I decided to increase this up to Realtime. I then rebooted the computer, and the first thing I opened was VS. This time it took 25 seconds to open, and 8 seconds on reopening later in the same boot. This was a major improvement and the initial opening time was now the same as others were reporting.
So you might want to try that to see if it might improve your Share page opening time as well. I can't of course guarantee that it will, but it might at least be worth trying...

Re: SHARE tab takes an age to load screen
Thanks Ken ..... never knew about that but, sadly, it never changed a whole lot with 2 minutes and 53 seconds for the SHARE tab to materialise on an empty project !
My gut feel is that it is a driver conflict of some sort but I'm not sure why Corel Support can't help with that. Surely its a case of knowing what files/processes are called when you hit that SHARE tab and what other programs might also call them.
