I got a new computer which is much faster than my old one. However, when I try to upload a video to VS X9 Ultimate, it seems to be uploading just fine, goes to 100%, then I get this error message...
"Unable to open file c:users, etc.....unable to find the file. Please check the name and location and try again."
Any ideas?

Re: Error message. Unable to find the file
have you been to the file location specified and tried running the file in another application - like Windows "films and TV" - does it run there ?? or is the fie corrupt ?
may have been able to be more help if you had posted the full file path - more info gets you more / better help

Re: Error message. Unable to find the file
Several thoughts on this.
1. Is your X9 fully patched (assuming it is, but doesn't hurt to ask)? Current version is 19.7.0.12. Also, note that altho it's old, X9 is generally regarded as the most reliable version of VS Corel has published to date.
2. Is the clip itself 'good'? Check with a program NOT videostudio. Does the video you are trying to import to X9 play using other tools, like media player or VLC? Specifically, locate the clip, rt-click and choose play or open with ...
3. what is the source of the video clip? Camera or phone make and model please. See also 5 below.
4. Is the VS import process you are using valid? Describe tour 'upload' - import - process please. Since you normally have to navigate to and select the clip to import, getting a 'cannot find file' message afterwards is really strange.
5. Does the clip have properties that VS is not compatible with or won't process properly? Capture and post here a screenshot of the clip properties. I know you can't do that with VS since it won't load, but open windows explorer, locate the clip, rt-click it and choose properties (bottom of the list) and then click the details tab. Screen capture that, save as a jpg, size it to 950 pixels horizontal max, and upload it.
