JPG shows color stripes on black background when load

I have a very strange problem here.

I took a snapshot on my new Xiaomi Smartphone (with Android 9), then transferred it to my WinPC via USB connection and tried to load it into PS X2.

Much to my surprise PSP shows only colored stripes (with changing positions) on black background.

Why?

Is this a JPG palette error?

How can I fix it in PSP?

All other image viewers and editors shows the screenshot correctly

So it must be an error in PSP X2.

For being sure not to modify the original picture during up+download from you I put it into a zip file.

I opened your original file in PSP X7, PSP X9 and PSP 2020. The image opens as expected in all those versions.

Did you installed the patches for X2?

It also does that for X3.
The first version it opens corectly in was X4. You can open it in a later version save it as a jpg and then reload it to X2.

I doubt that Corel would be interested in repairing a bug from a much earlier version.
