I have probably asked this question a while ago. I did the update to 2020. The problem always since I think version 12 is that they do not upgrade they install the
whole new program. I realize it is easier and less expensive.
I have folders Corel 12, 15, 16, 18, 21, 22, and now 23, should I take all the video file in each one and import them into VS2020 possibly in (New) separate folders along with the *.upd file extensions? But I also find files in the DTF_TEMP in the folder of each program?
I know that the easiest way to do it is leave them all where they are, drives me up a wall. On a rare occasion I do have to open an older file to record something someone wanted a copy of it. Re-connecting the particular file to the .vsp does not always work automatically lol. It seems to me it use to search the comp. by itself and re-connect it.
Thanks for any input

Re: Combining vers's into one.
In my opinion trying to combine different versions into the "new" version is asking for trouble and a corrupt new version.
You are confusing "updates" and "upgrades". An update only changes/repairs the existing program. You cannot update from Vs2019 to VS 2020.
A upgrade installs the complete program. That is you upgrade from VS2018 to VS2020
