Colorizing anomaly (to Me)
I'm colorizing a number of relatives in Family Tree Maker, and a number have of women's Victorian outfits that I know from my readings that they were of rich deep colors. My problem is that I'm unable to paint rich colors in the photos I'm working with. It seems that the darker the color - the lighter they are on the B&W photo. I honestly cant remember how I scanned the shots, (High bits - 300, but not color) but I have used the Enhance Color Depth under Image in . I'm at a loss!

Thanks Kathy! I'll have to study hartpaul"s response, as a quick reading has left me scratching my head. Hopefully I'm bright enough to understand the lesson...…………darthurb1
