I just installed the program and am unable to get usable results.
When I import an image, perform a simple operation like cropping and then save it, the saved image I get is reduced from the original's 3-4MB to a couple hundred KB and colors are corrupted. A sample of a original image and crop is at this link. I know I must have some basic setting wrong but can't find it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

When you are ready to save the image, do a Save As .
Choose the Save As type and make sure it is set to JPG JPEG and bottom right click the Options button and check your compression .
It should be about 10 or less. It looks like you have it set to 99.
