Update Notice
Hi,
Just posting to let everyone know that my scripts Luminosity Mask Drive Thru (LMDT) and Roller have been updated.
LMDT is now at version 2.2. In the latest version, I've made some speed improvements to the Test Drive function, and the script now processes a selection seamlessly.
Roller is at version 4.77 and is designed for anyone interested in making their own wallpaper.
You can get the scripts free from my GitHub Paintshop Pro repository:

Best regards,
Charles Bartley

Re: Update Notice
Hi Charles,
I just run into this and I got super excited about the LMDT, so I just gave it a quick go. It definitely saves lots of time! Many thanks!
I was wondering however, how you create the masks. If you are following the tutorial you include in your ReadMe file, I assume you create the Lights mask first, but PSP lacks the Ps channels palette, where a simple Ctrl+click on the RGB channel pretty much does the job for you. So how do you make the original Lights selection (before turning it into a mask)?
A 2nd thing is more of a request, if I may. If you take a look at this topic (maybe you should start from its end, to save some time) personally I have many issues with the Lightness slider in PSP's HSL adjustments dialog. I came up with a much better approach, using Curves instead (again, just my personal view on this issue).
So I was wondering if you could make a cut-down version of the LMDT script which will add a Curves adjustment (instead of HSL) inside the mask groups. As for the script's dialog, no need whatsoever to offer any adjustment fields at all in there. Just the buttons to select which masks will be created. I know I can simply replace the HSL adjustment layer(s) with a Curves one, manually after the script is done, but if it is not much of a trouble, it would be nice to have those created by the script at their default settings.
Thank you!

Re: Update Notice
Hi,
To answer your first question, a light and dark mask is created first, then a selection is made from the mask. In the Layers/New Mask/From Image dialog window, the 'Source luminance' option is used. There is also a 'invert mask data' checkbox at the bottom of its window. This inversion splits the mask operation down the middle, where the inverted option is a lights type-mask and the other, unchecked, a darks-type mask. Does that answer your question?
It took a couple of hours, but I have something here for you to look at. Can you run the script and let me know if this is what you wanted?
Best Regards,
Charles

Re: Update Notice
That was amazingly fast! Thank you so very much!
PS Yes, it did answer my question perfectly! Source Luminosity mask was the key. Once again, thank you very much!

LMDT 3
Hi,
You may want to check out my latest version of LMDT, Luminosity Mask Drive Thru 3. I've integrated all fourteen adjustment layers in this latest version. This version should make it easier to use the Curves functionality.
Best regards,
Charles
Edit: I fixed an over-sight in the adjustment presets where the execution mode should have been set to interactive. So the latest version is now 3.01.

Re: Update Notice
Thank you Charles!
Sorry for the late response, I just noticed the post (the forum does not send me email notifications, despite me having told it to).
Definitely more convenient now, and it works like a charm so far
One small thing (which I don't even know if it can be done from script) is the placement of the +/- Preset buttons. I have my screen set to 125% dpi and they look like this:
http://prntscr.com/tp5gno
Maybe center them or something? Same goes for Presets button/menu's little icon on the right. In any case, superb job there! Thanks again!

Here is a screen capture that shows what LMDT 3 is supposed to look like:

Re: Update Notice
I've made a 3.03 alpha version of LMDT for you to test. I've changed the way the main window is sized. The script no longer uses a fixed size but calculates the window size needed for the menu widgets. I also fixed a bug in the window positioning code which let the window draw off screen.
Please let me know if this version works on your computer as designed. Thanks for your feedback.

Charles

All good now Charles, thank you!

PS. They show bigger in my end because I've changed the Display options in the Control Panel of my Windows (125% scale, plus custom font sizes for several UI elements):

Roller 5
I've uploaded Roller 5 to my Github Paintshop Pro repository page.
https://github.com/gummyCowboy/Paintshop-Pro-Scripts
Roller 5 is the result 250+ hours of labor from version 4.
The most empowering improvements would be:
The user can layer multiple formats using a format stack.
The user assigns images to cells.
Best regards,
Charles

Do you plan create a short videos for each tool, how to use it?

Re: Update Notice
Thank you for your kind words. I just started another project which is going to take me months to complete. So I'll be preoccupied. I encourage anyone with questions to ask away here at the forum where I visit at least once per day.
