Gripps Youtube videos

Post by Mark Swanson »

Remember the great instructional videos that Gripps had up on Youtube? I liked them and they taught me a lot, he was a great guy. He toid everyone to copy them, because they would be taken down, and they were.
I did make my copies, but now because of a computer mishap, I have lost them!
Can anyone help me out to replace my copies? Thanks!

I have nearly 4 GB of Gripps tutorials, so it is not practical to upload them to a sharing site, is there anything specific that you are after

Well, the earliest ones are quite basic and I won't need those, but the later ones where he gets more in-depth are useful, and yes, the Boris stuff. I don't have anything specific, I just wanted them for reference and for helping others that I am teaching about the software. Every once in a while, I need to look back at something myself. I would love somehow to have them all. Thanks for any help you may be able to give! If you are up for it, maybe you could even mail me a disc!?! I'll compensate!

Gripps is gone? His stuff was great! I was so flattered when I figured out a transition technique on VideoStudio and made a YouTube video about it. Within a few days, Gripps had found my video, made a quickie version of the same technique and cited me as the guy who figured it out. Even with his version, my video continued to do well, so I was more flattered than annoyed.

I've heard a many-times hand comment that Gripps is making videos for Corel and part of the deal was to cease the YT action..... :?: :?: :?:

I'm sorry pvreditor, it's very cumbersome.
No need to cut & split the main track, just add crossfade to the overlay video.
I did so many times on 2 cam shoot.

I don't remember but I think also in X4 dayz.

I don't understand. What effect are you using? You simply drag a crossfade effect to the beginning of the overlay clip and that allows the overlay clip to fade in?
