SHARE MP4 Settings

Post by Cigarshaped »

I am trying to find a setting for MP4 rendering that allows good download speeds to my Samsung Digital TV. In former Serif MoviePlus X6 days the default which worked very well was 1024 x 576. This option is not available in the list, that I can see.

I have just tried 1280 x 640 as the nearest substitute. Dropped Video data rate to 4.5Mbps and adjusted audio up to 192kbps. Now look what I see in VLC playback!

Weird as the Samsung TV sees it just fine :?:

You appear to have produced it using a 360 degree output setting...

That's what I thought. How on earth do I switch it off or avoid it?
My MPEG4 render choice was "MPEG-4 AVC 1:1 (720 x 720, 25p, 8Mbps) " because it seemed so absolutely useless. Perhaps that's what they use for 360degs?? I will have to try editing another option!

Well that cured that little problem!
MPEG-4 AVC (1280 x 720, 25p, 4Mbps). My new Smart TV standard I think!
