How to subscribe to a forum?

Hi Jean-Luc. To subscribe to a forum, enter the forum and on the bottom of the screen click on the "subscribe forum" link. You cannot add a forum thru the User Control Panel but you can manage your subscriptions there. I know, confusing. . .

I'm already subscribed to this forum.
What I want is to receive a notification when a new message is posted on the forum.
It is done through the Profile:

Jean-Luc. I'm glad to see Ken has taken care of this for you. I'll try to clarify in case others are looking for a solution or you want to subscribe to another forum.

When you said you were already subscribed I'm assuming that is because you saw a check mark in the box next to Subscribe Forum. That is misleading and does not mean you are subscribed.

Your screen shot with the arrow pointing to "you are not subscribed to any forums" confirms this. What you need to do to subscribe is click on the link which is embedded in the words "Subscribe Forum" and you will receive a confirmation message saying you are subscribed.

Now if you go to the User Control Panel -> Manage Subscriptions, you will see a list of any forums you have subscribed to. This is where you can cancel your subscription.

Once you are subscribed you will receive the email notifications you are looking for.
