I have created several projects. Each project has its own folder to hold the clips in Video Studio. To be clear, the folder that I am referring to are the ones within Video Studio in the "Media" tab.
As I continue to create new projects, the number of folders is going to grow and navigation is going to be more and more difficult.
I want to be able to sort these folder by name and I am not finding a way to do this.
So ... how do you sort these folders?

Re: Sort Folders
good point, we don't know what VS you have, but I don't think it can be done.

Re: Sort Folders
this works for me in X10 . VS2018 and VS2019
do a slow double click (as used when renaming a photo) on the name of the folder you want to move BUT on the second click hold the left mouse key down - while still holding it down start to slide up or down and a white line will appear showing where the folder will stay once you release the left key - when it is where you want it release the mouse key
just note that you cannot move in between the "system" folders (Samples. Score fitter Music, Triple Scoop music ) only the new folders you added

OH...yes, now I remember... it works on X9 also, I think on older ones as well. I never had many folders but maybe I used this once.

Re: Sort Folders
Generally, I prefer to store my media clips (video, sound, photos, music) in folders which are quite separate from video studio, and normally not on the C; drive. This also includes related VS project files which may be using those files. It has advantages:
- the same material saved once can be used by different VS versions and even different software editors without any collateral interference/interaction - which includes deletion when you un-install the VS version that the project folders were initially associated with.
- easier to manage, which includes copy, backup and recovery if needed.
