Smart Download

Post by steve-s »

Initial version Trial removed, and VS9 installed from CD, manually updated to patch 1 off the Ulead website

Do you need to configure Smart Download??

When I try the smart download feature I get a box with Select the items below that you want to update ................. get more detailed information.

The box below this information is blank

If I try the Update button I get a message that disappears very quickly but looks like there may be a download bar there? and then a box with a yellow warning triangle "Download Status" Downloaded 0 files. Not downloaded 1 files
When I press OK a box appears saying Cannot get new content information

Am I missing something or should there be No new content

You shouldn't need smart download because you installed from a CD.
Smart download is for those who purchased the product by downloading it from the internet, you sort of get the main program then smart download adds the goodies to it
