Does anybody know a better way to slice a long video into separate smaller videos of equal or near equal size?
at present I do it this way - say the video is 1 hour long:
1) Load a video and keep first 15 minutes and delete the rest
2) Render this video and save it.
3) Load the main video again and delete the first 15 minutes and last 30 minutes so that I have another 15 minutes of video.
4) Render/share this video and save it
5) Repeat the process until I have all 4 different videos of 15 minutes or there about to make sure the scenes are not sliced at the wrong state.
Obviously, this takes too long to do. So is there a better way of doing this. I have not seen any menu items that can do this automatically. Not even in Adobe's Premiere Elements. I have searched for YouTube videos and none come closer to what I am looking for.
Thank you.

Yes, it can be done,
Open "Share" move the sliders below the preview screen to encompass the 1st project only (move the right hand slider left, to the 15 min. mark) Give a file name, Place a "Tick" in Create Preview Range Only, then select Start, after render, move the left hand slider to the 15 min. mark and the right hand slider to to 30 min. mark, then give a file name, make sure that Create Preview Range Only is still selected, then select render, repeat for remaining two projects adjusting sliders as required

Thank you Robert. I need to get used to using this technique.
It looks much simpler than what I was doing.
