I want to import a video from "My documents" into videostudio 9 and burn to DVD, but I do not want to use any of the theme template. Please could someone tell me if this is possible and if so How?
Thanks,

Hi blueboar
Start video studio.
If the splash screen appears select ‘Video Studio Editor’
The program should start in the Edit Mode. If not select the ‘Edit Tab’ from the top.
When you import a video file you are merely creating a thumbnail a link the main file on your hard drive.
You have two options:-
1 / import the file to the library, then drag the thumbnail to the timeline.
Select the folder ‘top right’ Browse your hard drive to select the clip.
2 / Select the folder lower left, choose insert video, again browse your hard drive.
This will place the thumbnail into the timeline.
Have a look at the top post re:-recommended procedure.

Hope this helps.
