Drag an Object to another Workspace in PSP2020
Now that PhotoImpact won't work on later Windows 10, I have purchased PSP 2020. The learning curve will be slow. But I need to ask if anyone here has used both PSP and PI, and if so, is there any way to open work windows like you can in PI, and drag an edited object onto another workspace, work window? PI users will know what I mean. I am very much afraid that can't be done. Thanks so much for any help.

Not sure if this is what you mean but here goes.
Make sure you are in Edit mode Complete - Right click an empty part of your workspace and Workspace > make sure Complete is ticked. You should then have on your right the Materials Palette and below it the Layers Palette.
1. Window > make sure Tabbed Documenrs is unticked. Load two images say A and B 2. You can now make B the active image and drag the layer thumb onto image A This will then produce a copy of image B and have it on a separate layer on top of image A I hope this satisfies your requirement "drag an edited object onto another ..., work window"
3. You can also drag a layer thumb onto an empty part of the workspace and produce a duplicate copy of that image.
