Hi all,
I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to post this but I can't find a forum for Corel Draw.
I am trying to install X7 on my Win 8.1.
I connect to the internet through a WIFI. (Netgear Aircard)
The program wants to validate the serial number before it will proceed with the installation. Even though I am connected to the internet, it keeps telling me that I'm not and won't go any further. Frustrating to say the least. I have tried more than once with the same results.
If Paint Shop Pro would simply print oversized pictures over multiple sheets of paper like it used to do in older versions, I wouldn't even need Corel Draw at the moment. I have large line drawings that I need to print out and the only way I've been able to do it is to open my PSP files in Corel Draw and use its print function to print the oversized pieces. Was able to use it on my Win 7 when I was still on dial-up (sadly, not that long ago) but I've never been able to install it on Win 8 with the WiFi.
So 2 pieces of advice would be really appreciated:
1) how do I get Corel Draw to recognize that I am online and proceed with the installation?
2) Better yet, is there any way to get PSP to print oversized, multi-page drawings?
Thank you!
Morgan

I've copied this thread to the PaintShop forum since it is possible someone here might have an answer about the PaintShop part of the OP's problem...

re: your question 1:
Are you by any chance having issues with using the internet in general? if I was to guess this sounds like a hardware / windows / broadband issue - the braodband reception has been flakey recently <sigh> when this happens to me i just move my device - once recently it was right next to reception that dramatically improved the number of bars I can see.
if this isn't helpful - you can do a chat / raise a ticket with Corel support - they are a touch slow these days but try at different times and you may get lucky

If you want to print on A4, for example, your need to slice the image into multiple parts and print them separately.
