Applying text - previous text appears

Hi,
I rarely use PSP to add text to an image. The last time I did so was about three years ago. Last night, in a new image I was putting together in PSP, I click the Text tool, and clicked on the image where I wanted the text to go. Some text from three years ago kept on appearing. Today, I opened another document, click the Text tool, clicked on the image, and some text I wrote and formatted from last night's session appeared.
I notice there is a Presets button on the tool bar, but when I opened it, it is empty of any preset texts. Have I got something enabled which shouldn't be enabled?

I searched your older posts to see what version of PSP you were using without success.
The text entry changed in PSP X3 where the Remember Text icon appeared on the Text Tool Options bar.

Before that a text entry box occured when you clicked on the document

This can still be obtained by holding the shift key down when you click to produce text on the document / image.
The Remember Text box here over rides the newer Remember text so you need to make sure that both are not active.

"Remember Text" isn't in the User Guide at all.
