PSP2020 tool adjustment

Post by caspia1 »

Is there a way to adjust the tool size (on the image) by using the scroll wheel of the mouse?
Or any other way which adjustment can be made without requiring the use of the toolbars?

If you put focus on the tool size option on the tool options bar by clicking inside that option or the size arrow of that option and then return the mouse to the image the scroll wheel will adjust the size. So you do have to first use the option bar to be able to put focus on the item you want the scroll wheel to control. This option to use the scroll wheel works with all of the tool bar options that allow you to change that option. For example, if you have the Rectangle Selection tool selected, and the Selection Type on the option bar is set to rectangle, if you click that option and then return the mouse to the image, using the scroll wheel will run through the other options like Rounded Rectangle, Circle, Ellipse, etc. To return the scroll bar to it's default function of zooming just click on the image, or use the tool, which is effectively clicking on the image. :-)

Also at any time with say the paint brush you can have the brush outline inside the image and holding the Alt key down click and drag the brush down to make it larger and upard to make it smaller.
