I am unable to activate Paintshop pro 2020 ultimate. Says invalid serial number

Once you have a valid serial number, put it in a file and save it. I can't tell you how many times I have copied and pasted a SN in the field window -- saves a lot of time.
Had PS3, PSP3; Installed: PSP-4.12, 5.03, 6.02, 7.04 (liked it a lot & used it for years), 8.00, XI, x4.3.0.3, x6.2.0.20, x7.4.0.11, x8.3.0.13, x9.2.0.7; now using PSPx10 (PSP 2018; version 20.2.0.1 x64) on Win 10-64 b2004.

I spent a large part of the weekend trying to install my new copy from Amazon (disk) with the same error, "Invalid Serial". Worked with customer support for a long time downloading installing failing, cleaning, re-downloading, installing, failing, cleaning.... Ultimately, support wanted to remote into my computer, which I wouldn't agree to. Now, I'm going to have to send it back for a refund. Bummed.
