PSP 2020 Ultimate wont open RAW images

PSP 2020 Ultilmate will not open my *.CR2 raw image files. It tells me"Corel PaintShop Pro 2020 (64 bit) has stopped working".
Here's what I have: windows7 (64 bit) Home Premium, 16GB Ram, AMD 3.4Ghz processor. Is it me or are there some bugs in PSP 2020 that need to be worked out. Th *.CR2 files I'm trying to open are on the average around 29,000kb, taken with a Canon T6S.

Now it stopped on me using the clone brush.

Now my PSP 2020 stops working if I try to use the clone brush. Am I the only one having all these problems with PSP 2020?

I don't have your specific issues but PSP does sometimes need to be reset to correct problems like that.

Here are the instructions if you need them. They state X6 but they apply to all versions.

Thanks for suggesting that. Unfortunately it didn't help.
The program also stops if I try to use any of the tools from Lighten/Darken to Color Replacer.
I started a ticket with tech support, hopefully they can figure it out.

Tech support was a big help. It turns out it was as simple as updating Windows.
