PNG Dateien mit schwarzem Hintergrund

Post by Neelix »

An was liegt das? Auf dem Desktop sind die normal transparent.

Unfortunately, we only accept posts in English in this forum.

I have translated your message as follows: I imported some PNG files to create an animated title. But the files have a black background with black writing and are therefore not readable. Why is that? They are normally transparent on the desktop.

The answer, I think, is that your preview screen is set to show with a black background. Therefore your transparent PNG will show the black background through the transparency, and therefore your black writing will be shown as part of the black background. The only thing that I can suggest is that you either change the colour of the writing, or change the colour of the background.

To do that go to Preferences (F6) and on the General tab, down towards the bottom, are the Preview Screen options. The first shows the selected colour. Change that to something light.

Hi
Just to add that transparent video should be used on the Overlay Tracks

Translation: I solved the problem. When exporting the PNG you have to use the Export function in Corel Draw, not the function 'Export For'. Then the background is shown transparently in VS.

(Note for others: This might sound strange but CorelDRAW has both "Export" and "Export For" available under File.)
