So, it's taken all day, but all the installed versions have been removed, and 3 (I elected not to re-install X10) have been re-installed.

After installation and the updates applied, I checked each one for the Share/video import elements that crippled the same versions that were originally installed under win7 and showed the reported issues after the win10 upgrade. And all those issues are . . . gone.

In the process I discovered - again - that the installers were quote focussed on download from the web servers. At the end of each installation process the final screen says "success! save the download folder/files to recover from if needed" or words to that effect. Meaningless because the installer in 2 cases out of 3 downloaded the version program package from the net, despite being started from within that original saved folder. I've bugged that . . . again.

Yes
But some Instant projects are complex, not only show in the library but in their respective library categories.
Whilst managing the VSPTemplate folder content, if you have problems running the program try renaming that folder to take it out of the equation.
A corrupt / bad Instant Projects file could cause the program to hang.

Just to confuse us there are many IP’s installed with the main program within the Editing Styles folders, so not all Library IP’s are from the VSPTemplate folder.

Just seen your last reply
I don't mind the reminder for us to save the downloaded files even though clearly we have saved them, although maybe sitting on the desktop.
But you will be surprised how many users don't look after those files and when it comes to the time to re-install cannot find them, lost serial numbers, stub and download files.
and without the message, nobody told me to save those?

Trevor,
It's not the message that concerns me, but the consequences. I know you - re-install king - would have all those details available. As did I, even tho the last time I used it for such a purpose was - years ago. But when I went to use it 3 times today, using the installer saved with the download files package to install from the saved files was a fiction 2 times out of three.

IMHO, the only way to fix that is to have a 3rd button in the installer: install from saved download files, which when selected presents a nav panel to locate the drive/folder where they are. Something I strongly suggested 4 years ago and was ignored. I've suggested it again in the bug report.
