Hey,
Is it me only having the following issue:
1. Add video/picture to overlay
2. On the effects section select "Mask & Chroma Key"
3. After that I do not get the "effect" view back. Meaning, if I for example add some effect like "active camera" to the same video/picture. After that "Mask Chroma Key"-action I cannot remove it anymore.
There seems to be two options to get that removed:
I ) Move your video to main video track (helps only partly).
II ) Restart the Video Studio!!!
The last option sound pretty bad, but looks like that is a real option. As this is case even you go "File - New project". Still the effects are hidden from overlay track objects. So even the first option helps you with one video/picture, rest of the stuff are still without it.
And this is case on: VS2019 22.3.0.433
Would be interesting to see if this is a case for others also.

Re: How to remove effect from overlay?
IF you mean remove the 'Mask and Chroma key" - after you have opened the 'Effect' panel in the options panel click on that 'Mask and Chroma key' you have circled in red in your image then on the next window untick (by clicking on it) the 'Apply overlay options' and the Chroma Key is gone
OR - if you mean remove the 'Active Camera' FX from the overlay image - first get to the stage you have shown in your image - then either resize the effect window OR use the scroll bar across the bottom of it - until you can see the cross in a white circle as per my image 1 - click on it and that window will change to the effect window - highlight the effect you want to remove - the click on the cross highlighted in my image 2 - effect gone

Thank you, wow , this catches me so often, the X is often not visible if not in full-screen. Have struggled with this hidden button for so long.
