Post by jungleexplorer »

My hard drive crashed and I need to reinstall PSP 2019 Ultimate, but I cannot find a download link for it. Does anyone know where it is? I found a download link for PSP 2019, but my serial number does not work for it. I think I have to download PSP ultimate.

Do you still have the file you downloaded back when you got PSP 2019? If so, you should save it in a safe place so that when a disaster strikes you do not have to live without it.
Had PS3, PSP3; Installed: PSP-4.12, 5.03, 6.02, 7.04 (liked it a lot & used it for years), 8.00, XI, x4.3.0.3, x6.2.0.20, x7.4.0.11, x8.3.0.13, x9.2.0.7; now using PSPx10 (PSP 2018; version 20.2.0.1 x64) on Win 10-64 b2004.

That is just it. The backup installable file is what got lost. Windows was becoming unstable and I upgraded my hard drive to an M.2 Samsung Evo 970 1TB SSD which is 200% faster than my former Samsung Evo 850 250GB SSD. The upgrade was extremely complicated and for reasons, I cannot explain it knocked out my three old WD Disc drives and six Terabytes of data. One of those drives was the drive I backups purchased software to. Now I do have an external backup drive that I back the internal drives to that I keep in a fireproof safe, but due to the fact that I have been very busy and negligent, so I had not backed up my internal drives to the external drive since I upgraded to the new version of VS and PSP.

I took the internal drive out and put it in a docking bay and by turning it on and off many times, I was able to get it to spin again. But the folder structure was damaged and it showed no files. Using the Recuva program I was able to scan the drive and recuse many of the files including PSP 2019. But VS 2018 is not among the files that are recoverable. So I need to redownload it. Now I did find a place to download PSP 2019, but that did not work because my serial number is for PSP 2019 Ultimate. My serial for VS is the same. I remember someone on here posted a link to download VS 2018 Ultimate a while back, but I cannot find that post.

This is a sad story. I recommend you copy it and paste it into an email communication with Corel Technical Support. They can check to make sure you actually paid for PSP 2019 Ultimate, then they will send you personally a link to download a copy -- at least this is what they have done for others in a similar predicament. This reminds us that the best-laid plans a' mice and men gang oft agley.

Luck y for me, I had the install files for VS 2018 Ultimate on my laptop that I use when I am traveling. Whew! Not that it would have cost me that much to upgrade, since Corel is offering me both Vs 2019 and PSP 2020 for $47. But since I just gave 10K to my nephew, whose wife was diagnosed with a brain tumor while they were doing volunteer work at a refugee center in Greece to help him cover their medical expenses, I need to save where I can.
