I'm getting a large pop-up at the bottom right of my screen from Corel many times each day advertising offers. They were about Black Friday, now it's Cyberlink Friday, tomorrow I expect 'Christmas', whatever.
Yes, just one click to remove, but can they be prevented altogether?
Can these unwanted ads be stopped?

Hi Terry
Can you have a go with these settings
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=66212&p=374203#p374203
I have been in contact with Corel Support and they are looking into this Popup issue, hopefully they will get this sorted.
In addition you can customise your windows notifications options
Click the notification flag bottom right for “all settings” look for Notifications or type Notifications in the search box – find – Notifications & Actions
Turn off any Corel products, I see one from Video Studio,
Turn off the default Browser, I see Google Chrome.

Re: Can these unwanted ads be stopped?
You can also go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Corel" and "C:\Program Files\Corel." Delete any "CUH" folder you find there. Deleting the Corel Update Helper will get rid of popups that occur when you are not running PSP. You will not be able to find "CUH" or "Corel Update Helper" on any list of installed apps, so you cannot uninstall it, just delete it.
Had PS3, PSP3; Installed: PSP-4.12, 5.03, 6.02, 7.04 (liked it a lot & used it for years), 8.00, XI, x4.3.0.3, x6.2.0.20, x7.4.0.11, x8.3.0.13, x9.2.0.7; now using PSPx10 (PSP 2018; version 20.2.0.1 x64) on Win 10-64 b2004.

Re: Can these unwanted ads be stopped?
Read the post at the link below, and perhaps the link in that post to another thread. If you have several Corel programs installed (including several versions of PSP) then it is not enough to only go to one or two folders to find the CUH (Corel Update Helper) folders. You have to do a computer search for CUH folders to see where Corel might have hidden other versions of those folders.

Re: Can these unwanted ads be stopped?
Thanks all.
C:\Program Files\Corel\CUH\v2 gave 'This folder is empty'.
But C:\Program Files (x86)\Corel\CUH\v2 had many files.
Rather than deleting, I renamed v2 to v2-BAK, in case I ever need to reverse this change.
In Settings > System > Notifications & Actions I found no Corel entry.
In Corel > My Account (having requested a new password!) I've Unsubscribed from all, so hopefully that will fix it.
BTW, a couple of days ago in Win 10 Task Mgr I found CUH.exe running and deleted it. But after getting another pop-up today I re-checked TM and there was no CUH entry.
