Hello, so I've had videostudio pro 2019 for over a month now, and all my time using it has been spent on one large project which is now finished and just needs to be exported. However, when I try to export it, it just stops at 5%. The program doesn't crash, the export window with the progress bar simply closes and nothing comes from it. I've tried exporting as an mp4 (for it's going to be a youtube video), and exporting matching project settings with the same result. I did the remote support with Corell last night for the better part of 4 hours and they were no help at all.
Has anyone else experienced this? I'm not getting any error messages or codes so I can't share those. My video and audio files come from multiple sources, my phone, my computer capture, a usb Mic, etc. And my project is roughly an hour long. I've searched the forum and haven't found any solutions or work-arounds. I just want to have my project completed.

Change to the Storyboard View as every element will be shown and easily seen. Timeline View compresses each element, especially transitions so it is easy to miss something that might be amiss, especially the dreaded gaps!
Go thru each element - does it belong? Is it the element you wanted? Are you trying to stack miultiple effects at the same time?
This is where I would start my investigation.

Likely the reason that your rendering stops at 5% is that there is a clip there that VS doesn't like. Locate that clip and try converting it to another video format and then add it back to your VSP timeline.blitzpulse wrote: one large project which is now finished and just needs to be exported. You could also try removing video clips, text and everything else around the 5% mark, save with a new name so that the original remains intact, then try rendering and exporting the revised version, if you can, then that will indicate a corruption that you need to identify in the original

Re: VideoStudio Pro 2019 Crashes during export
I just had a export do a CTD, no error messages, the application just terminated.
Is there a possibility the devs can force a save just before the export starts? Sicne it does not autosave during an export even if you set the timer for 2 minutes, it just doesn't autosave again.

just a silly idea.
disable HARDWARE encoding, i have the same problem here, after disabling the hardware encoder (cuda in my case) i could render my project.
yes, CPU skyrockets but it worked for me.

Re: VideoStudio Pro 2019 Crashes during export
Curious, I had hardware encoding disabled, and I enabled it in the last few days, and it made very little difference to stability, but since the CPU load does not change hugely for me, and most of my crashes are during rendering, I've turned HW acceleration off again.

Re: VideoStudio Pro 2019 Crashes during export
I enabled the "Enable Smart Proxy" and pointed it to a empty folder on my SSD. Since that, I have had no crashes - I have also turned on Hardware acceleration encode and decode turned too now.
Happy bunny.
