Crop Tool not working in PSP X2

Crop Tool not working in PSP X2
My Crop Tool doesn't work now. I removed PSP X2 from my laptop and reinstalled it. It didn't install as a fresh install which has never happened before when I've reinstalled from the CD. All my Recently Opened Files were still in the reinstall which shouldn't be. My Crop Tool still doesn't work. Any ideas that can help me?

When you reinstalled, did you tick the box asking if you wanted to remove all personal settings?

You could try to reset the crop tool by clicking on "Presets" on the toolbar and then clicking the reset arrow as shown below.
If that doesn't work you can try resetting PSP to factory default by holding the shift key while launching the software. If you have customized be sure to save your workspace first.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I tried the Presets and clicked on Free Form and my Crop Tool is working again. I don't know how it was deselected. I've never used Presets before. At least not in years and never for my Crop Tool not working. Maybe my husband was trying to show me maybe life is still worth living. When I couldn't use my PSP I realized all my moping around is not useful. Thanks again. I can see how this forum can be helpful down the road.
