PSP 2020 won't open in edit mode

Post by Stumann666 »

I just purchased an upgrade to PSP 2020. I would like it to open to the EDIT page, but it always opens with the WELCOME page, then I have to click the edit tab. Is there a way to make it start on the edit page? All my previous versions of PSP have the option to start them with the edit page, but I can't find where to make the change. Could someone point me in the right direction? Thanks.

Hi
Go to File – Preferences – Tabs
Also from Edit tab File – Workspace for choices

And make sure you are in "Complete" workspace and not "Essentials".

In my PSP 2020, under File/Preferences, there are 7 choices: General program preferences, file format preferences, file format associations, file locations, autosave settings, reset preferences, and switch language.
In previous versions (my newest one is X6), under General Program preferences, there was a choice called Default Launch Workspace and I could check the box called Edit. I can't find anything like that in PSP 2020.
Yes, under workspace, "Complete" is checked.
Nothing matches what you described.

This path should work for you.

File -> Preferences -> General Program Preferences ->Tabs
PSPX9 | PSP2020 | PSP2021| PSP2022 | PSP2023 & PhotoMirage installed; PSPX | PSPX2 thru PSP2019 owned but not installed
