I have a major problem where I need to get this project I am working on done today. The problem is I have a video that shows a drawing that takes 9 minutes to complete and I need to speed up the drawing so it is only about 30 seconds from start to finish. I need to do this sort of thing for about 20 videos (one of which is 25 minutes!).
I have already gone through the Speed/Time-Lapse option (in VS X8, which I normally use, and also in X10, which I just installed) and maxed out the speed to 1,000%. Frustratingly, this brings the video down to about 52 seconds, but seems unable to do more. In X10, there is a Time Remapping option, but either I don't know how to do it right or it suffers from the same problem, because I cannot get below 52 seconds on this video. The reason I need to do so is the drawings need to sync correctly with an audio clip I will be overlaying.
I can't seem to make it skip frames (putting a number in the Frame Frequency box doesn't have any noticeable effect) and I can't manually push the clip duration to below 52 seconds. I feel like this must be possible, as it seems pretty basic to me. I downloaded a free version of the program, Wondershare Filmora9, and it had no problem doing what I want. It didn't seem to need a speed-up of anything approaching 1,000% either. But I would have to pay $60 to get that program working without a watermark and I want to use Corel anyway so I am hoping someone can help me.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
