Hi.
I've been useing Ulead (Media Studio Pro) products since 2002. I've had CVS X6, X10 Pro, now I'm using CVS 2018 Ultimate and trying to use CVS 2019 Ultimate.
Several times I've wrote a letters to Corel Support service - the are useless (last request (5695881)!
My CVS 2019 Ultimate crashes every time making simple video. I just can not use it! At the same time CVS 2018 works almost good.
Here is the video how it happens evey time:

That is the main problem of mine. I've bought software that does not seem to work at all!
Another problem is that no one of CVS software allows me to use my Geforce GTX 1050! All setting are made correctly, but nothing happens - CVS uses intel integrated GPU only and it is several times less powerful than my Geforce GTX 1050.
It's a shame! CVS 2018 and 2019 makes the simplest video (48 second length) render fo 1 minute 10 seconds and Adobe Premier using full power of my GPU for 17 seconds!
Maybe some one can make someting with my issues and help me?

Re: CVS 2019 Ultimate shuts down every time during render
Hi
Not sure what is happening here except the program crashes at 38% which seems to be at 7.6 seconds
That appears to be where the 4 transitions are.
Can you save the project with a new name then delete the AB transitions, one at a time to see if you can render again without crashing?
Try removing the transition from the Title “100meters Tenex etc”

Re: CVS 2019 Ultimate shuts down every time during render
This is not a problem of this exact project. I can not render any project that has more than one video channel. My style of videomaking usually includes 3-4 channels of video at the same time and every time it crashes.
Sometimes it crashes even during 1 channel video rendering...
At the same time cvs2018 has no such provlems.

A suggested approach to try:RusBear wrote:Maybe some one can make someting with my issues and help me?
- The Overlay2 track contains .MOV files near the 8 sec mark so just try rendering this track on its own and see if it renders.
- If the Overlay2 track renders successfully then try rendering each of the other tracks separately in turn.
- If all tracks render successfully on their own then add them back one at a time and render to see if rendering is successful.

Re: CVS 2019 Ultimate shuts down every time during render
Thank you for your advice. I've done everything as you said here is the process and the results https://youtu.be/Nv0UAuUyHrk
The conclusion as follows: CVS2018 Ult works fine with the same project and renders the video fine (at the end of the video). In CVS 2019 Ult I have to try to catch It's bugs to make my video rendered, but at the very end I failed rendering anyway.

Re: CVS 2019 Ultimate shuts down every time during render
This is my experience as well with Video Studio 2019. The same source videos can be rendered flawlessly in several other applications. I check for updates every day, hopeful they must know bug fixes are needed.
I have worked for a couple of months with Corel technical support, following their instructions each time. Nothing fixes the problem. It’s clear the problem is the buggy software. Useless.
I have since tried to get a refund. Outside the 30 days, so they won’t even consider it. I may try to get my credit card company involved. I refuse to pay for software that never should have been released. Have not used this product successfully once. What a waste of time and money. I won’t buy another product from Corel.

Re: CVS 2019 Ultimate shuts down every time during render
So the issue appears to be something on the video track but VS2019 has lots of problems.RusBear wrote:I've done everything as you said here is the process and the results https://youtu.be/Nv0UAuUyHrk
Then I'd use VS2018 to render. However, I find that VS2018 has difficulty rendering so my approach with VS is to edit in VS2018 and then save the VSP in an older format and render using X10. Whatever the issues, IMHO if Corel doesn't fix VS they'll begin losing customers.RusBear wrote:The conclusion as follows: CVS2018 Ult works fine with the same project and renders the video fine (at the end of the video).

Re: CVS 2019 Ultimate shuts down every time during render
Uffff... That's enough for me! I've never met more stupid center of problems resolution before! They have connected to my PC, seen all the problems and adviced to convert ALL my video source files (even *.mp4 ones) with 3rd party video converters to *.MP4 files and than try again!
I ferused to do so, because it is a B**ll S**t!
Next their advice was to reinsltall my Windows!
What will be next - buy another PC?
I'm very disappointed! I've been using Ulead software since 2002! But now I quit - I'll use another video editing software!
