New Perfectly Clear available -- at a cost!

Post by Ken Berry »

For anyone interested, I've just received an email from the new owners of Perfectly Clear, offering me the full version of the plug-in. They label it as version 3.5 though in reality it is 3.9... (I bought it since I had found the filter quite useful in past versions of PSP.) I also found it interesting that they said they had bought out Athentech, which probably explains why the plug-in was not available in PSP 2020. The new company, by the way, calls itself EyeQ.

For a short while, the asking price is US$59 -- though this will probably have GST added in countries with the equivalent of VAT or GST. In my case it was A$103 all up. (Yes, we currently have a rotten exchange rate!) The normal price will be US$129.

It is indeed stand-alone, though has also installed as a plug-in in PSP 2020, 2019 and 2018, those being the versions I have on this computer. It also installed in the Photoshop Elements version I have on this computer though not in the old Photoshop version as that was only 32 bit and Perfectly Clear only comes in a 64 bit version as far as I can see.
