Pen tool option won't expand

Hello,
Sorry to ask this dumb question. I tried to expand the pen option in the options box by clicking at the right arrows but both of them won't respond. I got stuck with

Did I miss some parameter or switch somewhere that makes the right arrow not working.

You appear to have the Pen Tool undocked.
Hold your cursor to the right hand margin until it becomes a double leftright arrow and drag the window to the right to allow other options to show.
You can also double click on the Pen Tool title bar to auto dock it and show all your options.

That work ! Thanks. I was confused by the 2 right pointed arrows thinking it would extend the options and forget to use the boundary to expand.
