Developing a process for a task

I am trying to use PSP to develop scenes in RenPy for a visual novel. I need to extract characters for MLB to use in Code Lyoko backgrounds. This is the seed I wish to plant here. Using PSP is more than guessing which buttons to push. There needs to be a specific task and a proper sequence of buttons and requirements for the input to the process. Are there any like minds here?
