VS2018 render slower after change hdd to ssd

Recently I change my internal hard disk of my laptop from hdd to ssd and I notice that with the same VS 2018 configurations the render of videos take more time. What could be wrong and what I could do?

Odd. I've changed 2 Pc's to SSD and the speed change is like half, for the same activity. Especially obvious on long tasks. Are you comparing render time on the same project with the same spec? eg same project to mp4 pre change, and then post change?

I don't see how SSD will help on rendering... rendering is far below the data flow of HDD

It makes a difference . .
With only a single drive on a laptop, all the fetch data, process it, save it and repeat in a application involves disk access to the places where the info is saved or to be stored. ergo, a disk latency delay with each of those operations. A short render - delay saving would not be very discernable, but for larger projects, esp those that have a format translation involved in the render, it's going to be noticable because with SSD disk latency basically does not exist: the disk is just a large RAM store reached thru the SATA interfaces for disk.
Which is where my comment was focussed - compare like with like (render of a vsp based on HDD versus render based on SSD). Clearly if the render spec using an SSD is different -eg, the project file is longer and you are rendering to an HD format - then render will take longer.
An extreme example: a routine whole of PC (4 HDD units) AV scan took 70 minutes when the C main drive was HDD. Simply replacing that C: HDD with an SSD unit cut the scan time by more than half, to just over 32mins. Rendering a project won't be quite that situation, but in no case should the render of the same vsp using an SSD take longer.

David, on my current system I place my footage on 10 years old 240GB Hitachi HDD( I replaced a 160GB (I don't recall what make..)) and render to SSD . My renders are about 110%X project duration for the last 5-7 years, even on my older system that was SSDless.
In the last month I decided to start to render back to HDD as SSD life is set with the angels, no need for videos that fly out of my system.
