PSP 2020 Install fail and won't start

I have tried twice to install PSP 2020 on a new Win 10 LG Gram 15 laptop build 1903.

I get the following pop up messages when I try to start PSP 2020

I have had a similar though different experience. In your case, you get those messages, though there is also the claim on them that the program has been successfully installed. In my case, for several versions now, each and every time I have tried installing PSP on my computer which has been running for a while, the installation fails at around 49%. It then aborts and rolls back. If I then restart the computer and try installing again before opening other programs, it always succeeds.

So I guess I am asking if you could uninstall, and then reboot your computer, and install afresh immediately after reopening your computer...

Thanks for your reply but your steps did not work for me? I have been in touch with Corel tech support and they had a similar suggestion but they also had a removal tool that I ran and a link to different install files. I have now installed more than a half dozen times and it still will not run!

I installed psp 2020 on another computer and it works just fine? I don't know what is causing this. This is the only app I have issues with. I hope Corel will work to solve this incompatibility.

I am getting nowhere with Corel Support. They have had me uninstall, clean, reinstall at least a dozen times. I have even sent them system dump reports. I also tried installing PSP 2018 and it fails in a similar fashion. I think this is a problem with Corel. I can install Aftershot 3 and Painter Essentials and they run without problem.

Has anyone else had PSP install/run failures?

I am very frustrated and am ready to throw in the towel on PSP?

Try the System File Checker tool in case any Windows files are missing or corrupted - maybe a problem with Windows.

Also, try and download PSP 2020 again in case of file problem in yours.
