Paintshop Pro 2020 Installation Problem

Post by sdcc633 »

During the installation process of Paintshop Pro 2020, the first popup window is big enough to easily read and agree to the information. However, the 2nd popup window, EULA agreement, the window is about 20% of the size of the first. I tried making the content smaller and agreeing but the two buttons on the bottom are inoperable thus I have to "X" out the window and installation never happens. I am working on Windows 10, 64 bit system. I have tried clearing the temporary folder out according to Corel's instructions but nothing helps.

Does anyone in this forum know how to fix this problem?

Thanks!

I don't have a solution but a workaround. Across the years, Corel occasionally has made its installation windows too small for my Windows installation (this happened a lot with Win 7; it has not happened yet with Win 10). The Corel window would be too small to include the OK button; there was no way to select it with a mouse. The workaround was simply to use the Tab key to navigate to whatever button I desired. Then an Enter key finished the job.
Had PS3, PSP3; Installed: PSP-4.12, 5.03, 6.02, 7.04 (liked it a lot & used it for years), 8.00, XI, x4.3.0.3, x6.2.0.20, x7.4.0.11, x8.3.0.13, x9.2.0.7; now using PSPx10 (PSP 2018; version 20.2.0.1 x64) on Win 10-64 b2004.

I will give it a try. No luck...

In the EULA popup window (2nd window at 20% of the first's size), both the "cancel" and "next buttons" are inoperable. I have to "X" out of the window. Plus, the 3rd popup window (same size as the first window at least) after that with a "finish" button is inoperable also. I have to "X" out of that one also. Seems like it is a programming issue.

Are the buttons inoperable or is it that you can't see them?
If you can't see them you need to check the scaling size for your screen in Windows
