Command dialog boxes are wonky

Post by dehlers43 »

Hello!
I thought I had this issue fixed but it's back. I don't know if my problem is due to a Window 10 update or a PS 2019 update. Anyway, the adjustment boxes for several commands are unusable. For example, this is what I get when trying to use the histogram adjustment:

I have an LG Ultra HD monitor, 3840x2160 resolution.
It is currently set at 150% scale per the Windows display settings, which is the recommended scale.
Can anyone help me fix this?
Thanks!

I know this doesn't help you, but I also have a 3840 x 2160 monitor set to 150% magnification, and this is what I get. I've made no other adjustments to the PSP 2019 workspace apart from increasing the size of the text, icons etc in the User Interface section.

My icon size is set to large and the text is set to small. I played with these settings but nothing changed with the dialog box.... but thanks!

I guess you could reset PSP -- hold down the Shift key as you click on the PSP desktop icon. You'll be asked if you want to reset. Make sure, though, to save any customized workspace you may have set up, as it will be lost in the reset.

Well, reset didn't help. Any other suggestions?

I figured it out. For some reason, Windows 10 now thinks I have 2 monitors when I have only one. And of course when I went to Windows display, I was doing adjustments to the non-existent monitor. Setting the scale to 175% (on the correct monitor) fixed the dialog box issue but also made a lot of things rather tiny. But I'll live with it.....:)
