Uploading to my youtube channel

Post by wmike1503 »

Hi all,

New to Corel Studio. I can upload to my main youtube account fine. I can't see any way to upload directly to my youtube channel.

Am I missing something obvious?

Thanks.

Hi Mike
and welcome to the forums.

From the Share tab choose the Web icon, the middle icon on the vertical menu
You should see the option You Tube, you log-in to your account to access the options panel.

The process through the program has not been without its problems although it appears to be working now.

I would opt to create my own video then upload through my account, Although there is an option to do that here using Upload File

Upload project will render the project to a video file and then continue to upload, I find it wrong that I do not have the option to preview before uploading.
There are a few default video templates which may or not be suitable?

hope this helps

Hi Trevor,

Thanks for that. I understand how to upload to youtube. However, I would like to upload to my youtube channel - there does not seem to be an option for that. I guess I just have to export my video locally and then upload from within youtube. A little clunky, but if that's the only way - fair enough.

Cheers,

Mike

The problem with uploading directly is that VS2018/2019 sometimes has difficulty rendering a project so it's best to first successfully render out a project, review it, and then upload to YouTube directly. In addition, you have to input YT account info into VS which may be a dubious idea.

There is an option depending on what version of VS that you're using (your profile only says "Corel programs: Corel Video Studio"). Your best bet is to look at the user guide for whatever version of VS your using.
