MSP 8 Feedback

Post by Greg »

First impression of UI was 'What the @#$%' but then sat back and had a closer look. Once you have played a bit, the new look is really great. One thing that I have found a little confusing, video tracks go up (much better) but audio tracks go down so it takes a bit of getting used to to match audio to video.
While I can install 7 & 8 on the same machine, I cannot run them both at the same time, and switch between the 2. Is this normal?
Applying video filters is the greatest, you can fiddle with settings and see the net effect of the combination of applied filters, not the guesswork that was involved in V7.
Source/preview window combination - great.
UI is a bit 'busy' I really now need to set up a dual monitor system - long overdue.

Thanks to all the beta testers, I think you have done a great job, almost time to sit back and sleep for a week.

Greg

Yes, you're correct on both counts -- they can be installed on the same machine, but they won't be able to run simultaneously.
