Hi,
during the conception of the video, ( of 50 min lengh) I have at 2min52, and I don't know why, the video just stop !!! ( on Editing mode )
No idea why... I tried to remove everything in this zone, in order to see if something has been corrupted.... noway.. always stop in the middle...
Is there a way to debug ? and see what it doesn't like ?
What can I do for testing and find what is the problem... can we test the project file ? ( .vst file ?)
I am using VS2019.. but have the same problem on VS2018
( Of course, the project on VS2019 has been saved with the VS2018 format, in order to be seen on VS2018.....)
All my pictures and audio are local and no problem to fetch them....

.vst File? pr is that a typo and you meant .vsp file?
Also could you update your system specs? If those specs are correct then obviously you won't be able to run VideoStudio.
Are all your source media photos and audio? Any video? Where did you get the photos and audio? In what format are they?

I would start a new project and and slowly add the media testing after each addition until you encounter the problem

Have a look at the line immediately below the preview screen. It indicates what is called the scrubber, and the tabs at either end are called trim markers. So are the trim markers at the far left and far right ends of the scrubber line, or is the right hand one moved way back along the scrubber line towards the left hand one? See my attached screenshot...

Well, my system is windows 10 with 24Mb of RAM and 2GB HD.. I am working on a video for 3 weeks.. with no problem.... Today, I've remove, add a file and move the place for timing synchro... and when I try to listen to.. suddently, where I 've made some modification.. it's just stopped !!.. so, I've removed what I've done... bust still blocked at
There is no debug file somewhere ? that's really annoying... I've saved the project under VS 2018.. but I have now, the same problem....

As there is no useful error log created when opening a VSP. From your posting, it's not clear if you can open your VSP or not. However, if VS can't open a VSP then it's probably terminally corrupt.steve76 wrote:There is no debug file somewhere ?
Sometimes VS corrupts a VSP when saving and there is little that one can do except recreate it unless one has archived older versions of the VSP. You could try posting your VSP here and see if anyone can open it or open a case with Corel and see if they can.steve76 wrote:that's really annoying... OK, so, I have no chance.. I can't even upload my procjet file, because it's too large to be uploaded.... ( ~4 Mb)
My backup is quite old..
So, I can start again ..
I will save regularly and change the revision while making the video...

We refer to a project as being corrupt when Video Studio is unable to open the vsp
As you appear to be able to play the project but have problems then it is likely the content of the timelines is causing that
Whilst you can open the project there is hope

OK, After having destroying a real part of my work , I effectively found that at 2min 46, when you have nothing, just blank into the main track.. suddently, it stopped. I decided to unselect some tracks and I finnaly found the responsible on.. I have no idea of the reason... Delete the track and put it back.. and sounds to wok out.. That weird !
