The new AfterShot/AfterShot Pro 3 update 6 is online now!

Sorry for the long waiting.

We are excited to announce a FREE update is available for AfterShot 3 and AfterShot Pro 3! Enjoy several new camera profiles available which can be downloaded from the Get More tab in your application. Make sure to restart AfterShot after your download and you’ll be ready to edit!

This update also addresses several reported issues related to installation, lens profiles, watermarking, RAW thumbnail and more. For more details, and to download the free update, head over to our Patches and Updates page or look for your in-app notification.

PS: NEW Camera Profiles are available from the Get More tab (on the right-side of the application window in Windows and macOS) or from the Get More menu (Linux). New camera profiles do not install automatically—you choose the profiles that you want to install.

I tried the new update but what have happend to the filenames. When you process a raw image the file extension will include.ORF (I use Olympus).

Before the filenames was like this: 291019_EM1_1234.jpg
and after the update like this: 291019_EM1_1234.ORF.jpg

Can I change that - If not please you change it back again.
Have removed the update for now.

We are sorry that you encountered the situation although we do not really understand how to duplicate it. Could you provide more detail info (e.g: step, snapshot...) for reference? Or please contact our Corel support team and they can offer technical support. Thank you.

Just sid 'yes' to new update. Nothing else. Standard configuration of program - Straight forward.
Went back to 'old' version and here is all as it should be.

Don't know what to take screen-/snapshot off to resolve this.

What does other users say ??

I have just tried the export with Nikon (NEF) and Sony (ARW) files to jpg. The Nikon files are named correctly as DSC_xxxx.jpg but the Sony files are incorrect as DSCxxxxx.ARW.jpg.
Also the performance appeared to be very slow - on i5-7200; the first one taking 15 seconds and a batch of 6 taking 27 seconds. I haven't any figures for the previous version but I recall about 1.6 per image seconds for a similar job.

After update 6 of AfterShot 3, AfterShot 3 no longer works properly and has become slow in everything.
when i apply edits then it goes completely wrong the previews that are displayed at the bottom go over and through each other, there are also gaps where no previews can be seen.

I hope they will soon do something about it, otherwise I will be forced to switch to Adobe.
