rotate text query
I know how to rotate text round a circle or globe but how do you rotate the text around the 'equator' of the globe?

Re: rotate text query
use the pen tool to draw a cured line along the equator in vector. Much the same as your doing with the circle shape to go around the globe, then set text to that line.
If the text is on the underside on the line (upside down) go back to the pen line with the pen tool, right click on a node, a drop down will open, go to Edit, Reverse contour. This will reverse the direction off the nodes and automatically put the text to the top off the line, right way up.
You can do the same thing with a circle made by the shapes tool. As a vector use the pen tool to reverse the nodes can either have text inside or outside the circle. This good when you get around to the bottom off the circle, can change the text so it's not upside down on the bottom off the circle. Note; To change the text from top to bottom as described the vector must be a second one. = One for the top (right side up). One for the bottom half with reversed contour so the text is inside the circle but up the right way. Enlarge the circle till the text is outside the Globe or circle you laying text around.
Sorry tried putting a picture description up but this sight is living in the dark ages and has to many restriction. Small shots are worthless if you can't see (read) what you need to see.
