2020 startup
I had the same trouble when I installed the 2019 version, and my memory just isn't good (I'm 81) to remember answer. I want PSP to boot directly to the edit mode, not the welcome screen. Where is the option for that.

You'll find it in File > Preferences > General Program Preferences > Tabs and select "Set Edit as default".
