EDIT:

Did the update and it broke my hole PSP installation.
Had to uninstall the program, download the newest setup, install it and everything is fine again.
Seems like many minor bugs have been fixed, and despite the update problem definitely worth it.
Also I now have the Ultimate version instead of the Pro version :?

Still no improvement on layer and group editing, and continue to use PaintPhoto for this.
* Be able to move groups with arrow keys and Ctrl (like vector and raster layers)
* Pick Tool: Option to only select objects on the current group or layer

That's curious. I currently have versions 22.1.0.22. I downloaded that update (which was specified to have been released yesterday 17 October). But when I clicked to install it, I got a message that my PSP did not require updating at this time. Checking for updates in Help within the program also showed no update available... So what is going on???

I'd be interested to hear what you meant by "download the newest setup". I too uninstalled the current setup, but then I went to my original installation files, and reinstalled. That gave me version 22.0.0.132. But then I installed from the link provided above by Radim. This time it was accepted, and I ended up with version 22.1.0.43.

So needless to say, I am interested in why you now have 22.1.0.44! And how do you know you now have Ultimate instead of just Pro?

It might also be useful if Radim could explain what he meant in the title of this thread, by "after" in his "(after 22.1.0.43)".

I've partially answered my own question -- though opened further mysteries...

I uninstalled PSP 2020 again (!!). Then I went back to my original download link when I first got the program. (I renamed the other related folders and files in my Download folder.) Then downloaded the whole thing again. This time installation took me directly to version 22.1.0.43. So I still did not reach jorgensen's version 44. I thought I would try installing Radim's link, but again got the message that my version of PSP did not require an update at this stage.

Furthermore, I am now receiving pop-up ads from Corel, telling me to upgrade to the Ultimate version from the Pro version. I thought I had Ultimate -- and indeed my original installation came with the Ultimate extras. So that is mystery number 1.

Mystery number 2 is the plug-ins -- though that may be related to mystery number 1... I have gone to Preferences > File Locations and added a link to Google/Nik Collections there. But after several reopenings of PSP 2020, there is no Nik collection appearing in Effects > Plugins. For me, this is serious. I certainly had it in my original version.

I also don't have Perfectly Clear 3.5, which I had in the original. I have tried adding links to both the Athentech folder and to the Plug-in > Perfectly Clear sub-folder of PSP 2019 without luck. I get a msg telling me it is not installed when I click on the link to it listed in Effects > Plugins.

EDIT: Looking at past posts, I see that Perfectly Clear was probably not included in PSP 2020, so that may be the answer to that one... though I seem to recall using it in my original version... Mind you, I've just turned 70 and that thought could have come with yesterday's whisky!

Further EDIT: Curiously enough, I had to reboot the computer for another reason. But on reopening PSP, the Nik collection is now there under Effects > Plugins.

Now I just need to work out how Jorgensen got Ultimate and I seem to have been downgraded...

Ken, I too have version 22.1.0.43. Not sure how jorgensen got 22.1.0.44. Also, I his splash screen is a different color than mine. On his the creepy floating chair is blue and mine is orange.

Yes -- mine is the same as yours Kathy. But you will notice on Jorgensen's that he also has the magic word "Ultimate" which is lacking on ours...

Downloaded the update and it installed fine for me.
My PSP now shows version 22.1.0.43 but it also displays as PSP 2020 Ultimate.
My original install file was the one from HumbleBundle.

Have tried to recall what I did.

After the previous installation I moved the downloaded files to my install drive.
Installing the new 'Ultimate' version, I ran the old Autorun.exe and it downloaded the psp2020_ult.zip file to the subfolder PHOTOPRO.
In the same folder there is a PSP2020_UIt_CDA.exe file which I now tried to run, and it seems it is the file to use for downloading.
Noticed the uninstallation removed the hole PSP 2020 main folder, including plugins.
The installation program is also installed in C:\Program Files (x86)\Corel\Corel PaintShop Pro 2020\Setup

PSP2020_UIt_CDA.exe -> https://drive.google.com/file/d/1b50INB ... sp=sharing

I just updated to 22.1.0.43 to try it out.
I don't know if it's a new problem but I just noticed that after cropping and undoing the crop, some layers had their contents cut and moved to the top left as if replaced by cropped version instead of the previous state.
I can't figure out why it's only happening to specific layers, I've tried a dozen images but there doesn't seem an obvious reason I can tell.
This is a dangerous bug.

I hope it gets fixed asap because if I can't trust my undos, I can't trust PSP.

This is getting silly. I just installed the version of PSP 2020, said to be Ultimate, which came with the Humble Bundle. It's installation folder appeared to include the various Ultimate items. I installed it, and it came up as Pro version 22.1.0.22. So I tried adding the update, but got a message (again) saying no update is necessary at this time. Checked in Help > Update and was told there was no update. And it's definitely the Pro version, not Ultimate.

Even more strangely, during the installation process -- which could only occur after I had uninstalled the earlier installation, including user files, and rebooted -- I was never asked for the Humble Bundle serial number... When this new version was installed, I registered it. And the registration list on Corel.com of my products shows a completely different number to either the Humble Bundle number and the original number...

... And here we go again. This time I uninstalled my last install, deleted all setup files for 2020, and went back to the Humble Bundle. Downloaded PSP from its link, and installed it. During that process, it kept indicating it was the Ultimate version. Moreover, it also, at the start, asked me for the Humble Bundle serial number. Installation proceeded, I registered it, and PSP opened as... the Ultimate version... And moreover, as version 22.1.0.44... So after about 5 reinstalls, I am a happy bunny again. Now just to customize it again since in the previous uninstalls I told it to uninstall user files, and in the reinstall, not to import the existing database... Never mind. This time I will happily accept the extra work...

No updates available in Canada; strange that. Still on 22.0.0.132 - U. Maybe Corel started at the International Date Line or something, instead of the people 200km away.

Mine also said no updates available from within PSP 2020, but I went to Corel and downloaded the Patch.
I made a Restore Point first, just in case it messed things up, but the Update went fine and did change my version to the newer one.
