Hi guys
It's been a while since my last posting as everything has been ok but I now have a problem, that has not occurred before, when attempting to create a dvd from my project.
I have initially created a "video that can be played on a computer" (MP4) but whether I try to make a DVD either directly from my project or by using the MP4 I get an error message at the rendering stage, after hitting the 'Burn' button.
This says " Convert Step Got Some Problems" it has a code (257.0.0)
This is a very short project of 15 minutes containing MTS Files and some photographs.
I made a similar DVD in August which was rendered without this warning and have made no adjustments to my Panasonic video camera in the meantime.
Can you help at all?
Many thanks
Mark

Re: Creating a DVD
Hi Mark
You should render your project to Mpeg2 as those are the files that are required to burn a DVD.
With your project open on the main timelines choose Share – Mpeg2
The default setting MPEG-2 (720 x 576, 16:9, 50i, 8Mbps) should be appropriate but if you can provide the properties of your video files we can advise if the defaults need a tweak.
Once you have rendered the project to MPG you can play the file to check quality.
All ok Start a New project, this is to clear the timelines
Now Share Disc DVD to open the burner module, it is here that we add our new MPG file
Top left for Add Media Add video
Some more info here
