PSP2019: What is the file "storeData.json"

Post by Pepi »

Hi,
I'm not sure about others, but I love Sysinternal tools, especially the process monitoring. That shows up so many problems on different applications, especially when you are trying to run software with minimal credentials. Anyway, while troubleshooting other application I found the following behaviour on PSP2019:
PSP2019.gif
I have no idea why that file could be so important, that if I have run PSP hours already on idle, it still reads that file multiple times per second. And the file seems to contains only commercial staff. Yes, no need to propose: "close it if you do not needed" :D
Perhaps this is fixed on a newer versions.

Really? It's reading it multiple times? I can see it doing that if you have new document open, or brushes, or text. You know, all of the tools that present you with downloadables and purchase items. It is in the store folder after all. But several times a second?

@LeviFiction,
Yes, correct. I have not closed the PSP since last time. Workstation was only on sleeping over the night, and the same story :D
PSP2019.gif
But this most likely explains why the CPU load for the VideoStudio stays 0% long times, but PSP is using the CPU all the time. Not much like ~0,3%, but still I feel somekind sign that is.
