no burner exists?

I cannot get my projects to burn in VS9 or MF4 now. They've been working for months but when I go to burn it says no burner exists! The burner is working fine for everything else (nero, WMP etc). I checked it in device manager and it says it is working fine. Any ideas?

Did you install any new software or drivers, or make any configuration changes?

I reinstalled the dvd drive update for MF4 and it ended up working. I don't know what happened but obviously something happened so the drive was not supported. Thanks

Check and make sure Nero's Drag to Disc program is not running in the background.

Nero's DLA utility is called InCD. Roxio's is called Drag To Disk. Both will interfere with other burning applications, but neither would cause the drive to not show up in Videostudio.
