3rd party plugins and Psp 2020

Post by BlueFeather »

Just got PsP2020 copied all my plugins to the plugin folder and...

Nothing@ even listed

Just the EyeCandy/Xenophex/and Flaming pair 3rd party addons are not even working yet they work fine in 19,18, Photo X2 and 11

any ideas or suggestions to make them work?

You mention them working in X2 and 11 -- both of which are 32 bit programs. I can only then presume that since they were also working in what I assume are PSP (20)19 and (20)18 -- as opposed to X8 and X9 -- that you are opening the 64 bit versions of those programs. And of course 32 bit plug-ins will not work or even show in the 64 bit version (unless you are using a bridge program).

So when you installed PSP (20)19 and (20)18, did you install both 64 and 32 bit versions, as recommended, or only the 64 bit versions?

Also would help if you named some of the plugins that don't work as otherwise we are in the dark - there are different types of plugins requiring different program requirements and locations.
Systems available Win7, Win 8.1,Win 10 Version 1607 Build 14393.2007 & version 20H2 Build 19042.867

Most of the old plugins will only work in PSP 32 bit. For EyeCandy, my version 7 works fine in PSP 64 bit.
Flaming Pear Plugins include a 64 bit version which works fine in PSP 64 bit.
