If I uninstall then reinstall Videostudio X9, am I going to have a problem with getting it back again? I bought mine online years ago, so what would I need to do if I uninstall it then try to reinstall it? My Videostudio x9 went completely bad because it's not doing what it's supposed to be doing. There are way too many things going wrong with it.
The funny thing is, I was going to upgrade it to Pro, but now it doesn't work at all, so I won't upgrade until I am not confident that videostudio is going to work again.
Is there going to be a problem if I uninstall and reinstall?

Re: Is there going to be a problem if I uninstall and reinst
Yes, I did. But now I somehow got it working again. I restarted it about 3 times and I also went to "control panel", uninstall, (because I thought it would give me an option to repair), but it didn't, so I backed out of the uninstall, then I restarted VS and it started working again. I couldn't believe it!!! After weeks of it not working, it started working again, at least for now. However, I won't be paying for any upgrades or getting different versions because I have completely lost faith in Corel. So if it keeps happening, I will by a product from a different company.
Anyway, thanks for your reply.

Re: Is there going to be a problem if I uninstall and reinst
Hi rkstudio
To install Video Studio X9 you need to locate this file
VideoStudioX9_Installer.exe I see 10,925Kb as its size.
Known as Stub or Web Installer, it is this file that is used to download and install the program.
We can also use the file to download the latest version of CVSX9 at any time
I would suggest you do that saving the files in a safe location.
When you run the VideoStudioX9_Installer.exe you may be prompted to insert your serial number although with the program installed should already filled in
On the final page where it shows the program as installed, Deselect “do not download installed modules again”
Then Please choose a folder for the download files.
Download Only will download the latest installation software.
As I say I think it is worth downloading and saving the installation files just for a rainy day
