Hi there all,
I have been searching online looking for a way to open a large layered pspimage file that stopped opening after the program froze and crashed in the middle of working on it.
The file appears to still exist, is the same size file, and is recognized as a PSP file until I try opening it, at which point I get the dialog box ""Unable to open file. Please verify that the file is valid."
It is valid, I can see it in the preview screen, so apparently it still exists - or a thumbnail of it does, anyway. A similarly sized file is in the PSP tmp folder but I have not been able to find a way to open or restore it, in spite of searching the net and reading other people's similar problems. The file is not recognized in Auto-Preserve, although it had been auto preserving.
Ideas, anyone?

Hi Jean-Luc, thanks for your response. Yes, that was one of the threads I had already seen earlierJean-Luc wrote:I think the file is corrupted and cannot be retrieved.
